Overall great show. Keeps me from slipping on scree and holds up on slick trails. Good room on the toe box. Only downside is the toe guard- very thin and you feel it if you stub your toe

Great traction and support. The climashield is moisture resistant at best. Finished my run in soggy shoes. Wet but still comfortable
Too Small; Too Soft

ordered this boot based on Backpacker Mag. Nice looking and cool design concepts but poorly sized. I'm a true 9.5 med and the 9.5 was very tight with the extra insole removed. The 10 was too long and still narrow. The sole was overly spongy and felt more like a lite trail hiker or beefy trail runner. I wouldn't wear these on a weekend BP trek.
