I have used several different brands of snowshoes and these are by far my favorites. They are well built, easy to use and perfect for youth (approx. 8 to 14yo).

CampSaver Klymit Static V Sleeping Pad
We have several of these, they are light and comfortable and great for backpacking in warm weather. We use the insulated ones at higher elevation and when it's colder. So far we've been really happy with them.

These Salomon Tundra Pro boots are great. I was interested in the aerogel insulation because it has such great reviews and when I tried the boots on I couldn't believe how light and non-bulky they are, especially since they are rated for -40* F. I ordered a half size bigger for comfort, which was perfect. I can't wait to wear the snowshoeing.

Buff UV Headwear
I fish, ride and backpack a lot and I have fair skin. I don't like to use sunscreen. The buff is so useful, it keeps the sun off my neck in the summer without being too hot and is nice as a neck gaiter on a cold morning. It is light, versatile and useful.
