I’m used to camping (“glamping”) in a really large, 6-8 person tent. I’m trying out new backpacking gear that I’ve bought prior to actually going backpacking, so we took the tent to a campground in Shenandoah National Park – I was impressed. The tent has really cool features contained into a small package. First of all, I am HORRIBLE at putting things together, including our big tent. Big Agnes makes it really easy with this tent. I called it “idiot proof,” and it really is. I got the footprint to go along with it, and that easily joins the tent. I like the two doors with their big vestibules, so that each person can get out on their own side and store their shoes/pack near them. The built-in LED lights are a really great touch (they don’t come with the required 3 AAA batteries so you’ll need to bring them, FYI). There’s a few little pockets by your head on each side of the tent for little miscellaneous things, like your glasses, headlamp, a book, etc. The ventilation in the tent was good as well. It poured rain most of our trip, and there wasn’t a drop of water inside the tent. The rainfly had purposefully placed points that pulled the tent out and kept the dripping away from the tent. We did use waterproofing spray as a precaution as well. For being a small, two-person tent, it was cozy but still pretty roomy. I’m happy with my purchase.
I wanted these to fit so badly! This is my second pair of Chaco sandals that I've bought, and the second pair that's been returned.
Not only do I have wide feet, but I have what's called "high volume" feet, or basically my feet are tall in the section between my toes and ankle. This sandal actually fits width-wise, but it just doesn't fit volume-wise - the straps are too short to correctly go aro
I bought my first pair of Darn Tough socks a few months ago, and I'm hooked. These socks are incredibly comfortable and fit exactly to size. Their antimicrobial and haven't smelled so far in my use with them. Also, Darn Tough will replace your socks if damaged, etc., no matter when they were purchased, no qouestions asked. That's a true lifetime warranty.
