Looking at these things, they don't appear to be of much use, but once you put them to use your opinion may change. Solid rubber construction, the ball feet fit secure and take a bit of pulling to remove them. Likely will prevent sinking in softer surfaces.

Helinox Savanna Chairs
I bought this for kayak camping as a compact seating option at camp. The high back allows tall folks to get full support when relaxing. I plan to get the table as well to complete the package and the netted base for sand.
