These pants are great very robust and flexible. The colors are very good as well.I highly recommend these pants for everyday wear and I could see them being a great climbing pant as well. The feel a bit warm.

Wow what a jacket! I had high expectations for this jacket and I was not remotely disappointed. This jacket exudes fine craftsmanship. One can immediately tell the outer is a much tougher pertex. I have watched videos of this jacket in a shower and I have to agree that this is like a shell outer that should perform wonderfully in rain or wet snow. The fluffy down is very thick and full, I can see this coat doing an excellent job of providing warmth in some seriously cold weather. It is spread out evenly across the coat and it does not feel like there should be any cold spots. The hood is also very thick and full and the chin guard comes up a good amount, so this does offer excellent protection and really only exposes the upper check bones and eyes, just right. The hood may be tight with a helmet on, I have not tried that yet so hard to say there. I feel the pockets are perfect in size and warmth and there are four of good size so very happy there.

Obviously from my review you can see I REALLY LIKE this jacket. This is my first RAB product and I have to say I will definitely be giving them more consideration in the future based off of this jacket. So overall I do not think you could find a better puffy for what they are asking retail price and considering I purchased this at campsaver for a bit less than half I am ecstatic over this purchase. Just received the Cardinal Orange jacket first of August 18 so I cannot speak about winter, rain, windy use. Overall the jacket feels like extremely durable Gore-Tex Pro. I think it is 80D fabric so it should be durable. The Cardinal Orange is outstanding as far as looks go, very bright and noticeable. The pockets are of good size and should definitely hold some gloves and other stuff. The main zipper is pretty smooth in movement. I have had other brands that this has been troublesome. Both pockets on the chest are easy as well on the zippers. The pit zips are tough to get up and down with one hand but I find this to be the case with any I have ever tried, may be lack of range of motion.

The hood on this is the best I have ever used no shell jacket bar none. It has a wire brim with some bendable plastic or something attached to it so it almost like a baseball cap bill that you can mold and it sticks out a bit to keep rain off your face. It also has a removable snow skirt, nothing special but nice to have. The wrist cuffs feel as if they should remain velcro strong for a long time and shouldn't lose their stickiness. When raising my arms overhead the sleeves do not pull down and stay put good, however they are bit long on me when they are not extended.

I am very happy with this jacket as of now and do not expect any surprises when the bad weather comes. Once again campsaver has knocked it out of the park with price and delivery. Campsaver is my #1 place to look for online gr
