These really are beautiful carabiners!
The Chimera is the clean nose ultralight carabiner that is perfect when grams count (think trad and alpine adventures). I use this to rack my gear but also for alpine draws and accessories. I would compare this favorably to the long-time favorite helium.
It is not a full size carabiner but is bigger than the Camp Nanos, which is definitely a good thing- But still only weight one ounce!
Gate action is great and quality control is a complete non-issue as is to be expected from DMM.
Would buy again.
Really nice jacket looks great and feel high quality. a great in-city shell layer that will look better than your average rain shell. This is only a shell layer and I would not use it to stay warm.
but we aware it runs VERY large- recommend ordering a size down.
This was the exact bag I was looking for, beautiful pag. It is warm enough to take you into light winter (can be a 3+ season bag with clothes/liner). Packs up small which is perfect for light hiking.
Cut is a little narrow, but fits great for me 5'9" athletic build I had plenty of room to roll around a big. Might be tight for burlier individuals tho.
Haven't tested it in really cold or wet conditions yet, but was plenty warm in 40 F with some rain. Look forward to seeing how it handles pushing the limits a bit and during a bivy.
