Seems nice and warm so far. I would consider this a medium level of down jacket (low being something w/ less fill and coverage like zonal and high being a thicker parka). I will be layering this In the coldest climates (base to shell) as fleece>G50 soft shell> nitrous> waterproof shell and feel that this will be a good system that can adjust with the weather.
