These shoes do run a bit small, but if you're like me and like the aggressive fit, then they are perfect (I went .5 size down from my street shoe size). These shoes are somewhat soft, but goodness do they edge well. Furthermore, after about 3 bouldering sessions they broke in and have been extremely comfortable since, though I do still take them off pretty often (Walking around in downturned shoes isn't the most comfy thing I've ever done).
I also absolutely love the heel. I have a low volume heel so shoes like the LS Solution tend to have a ton of dead space and slip off when pulling a really aggressive heel hook. I have never had an issue with a slipping heel cup in these shoes. I definitely recommend them!
I struggled throughout the past year to find climbing pants that actually fit my super slim build without looking like parachute pants. I tried pants from patagonia, marmot, and mammut, but these pants had the best fit of all of them. they also don;t have the nylon look that a lot of stretchy climbing pants have and I found that I can wear them casually as well at at the crag. They are durable, comfortable and while on sale they are a steal!
I have used this harness for about 6 months now. Its Petzl so as expected I have had no issue with the quality. It isn't the lightest harness in the world but it is durable and functional. My only complaint is the sizing. I am 5'9" and 145 lbs and this harness is just the slightest bit loose tightened all the way as a size 1. Unfortunately that is the smallest size they make so if you are an extremely slim person I would get a different harness.
I got this jacket a year ago as a gift and love it. I am 5'9" and 145lbs with a very trim build. I have a medium and I love the fit, though i do like my jackets to fit a bit big, so it is certainly a little loose. This jacket does have a DWP finish so I will wear it in just about anything but a downpour. This jacket is definitely more casual than active and it is a bit boxy and less fitted than some of the marmot and mammut basic down jackets I have worn. Overall I love this jacket.
