These pants are comfortable as well as being convertible from long pants to shorts by the ease of a zipper. I especially like the fact that the zippers are colored differently to help direct which lower leg is to be attached to the short leg—a great improvement in design from other brands of zip-off pants that I have bought in the past.

I just received my first skort and wore it last night for our walk. It was great! No rubbing of my thighs together, and still had feminine profile! I just ordered 3 more-so I will have all 3 colors and an extra one in black, my go to color.

I just received my first pairs of these zip-off pants. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a cinch-devise at the bottom of these pants! So, in addition to a flexible shorts/long pants item built for outdoor activity, I have pants that can be adjusted to keep debris or pests from easy access to my legs! An additional perk—it allows me to shorten the pants without sewing! Great addition to an item that will get much use�.

Review for Marmot Minimalist Pant - Women's

Very pleased with pants. I am only 5" tall, and was worried @ length. However , with the drawstring at bottom cuff pulled a little to keep cuff at top of boot- worked well. Can let out drawstring to allow pulling down over boot top to increase protection there very easily. As for fit at waist & hips- good. Easily fits over base layer, yet not baggy big. WILL need base layer in this frigid single digit Jan weather as thin cotton leggings were too cold under these with just a jacket. (They were not advertised as lined/insulated, and they are not- which will be good for warm weather wear out in the rain.). Could not be more pleased with pants. Cost-----should be life long wear so in the end worth it. A bit expensive up front cost.
