Vasque Talus UltraDry Hiking Boot - Women's
This is my first pair of hiking boots and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm starting to get more seriously into hiking and the cross-trainers that I had been using up until now just weren't cutting it as I trek further and longer each time. I was worried that these boots would be overkill for the day hikes I tend to go on, however I find that they provide just the right amount of stability and support without being too heavy or cumbersome. I chose these specifically for the higher ankle coverage over trail runners, and for that these boots fit the bill perfectly. I average only about 4 miles each time that I head out, and everything has been basically on-trail, yet I feel confident that these boots will hold up splendidly for more intensive hikes in my future.
