After doing research and determining what I was looking for in a backpack tent, I came across the Tufly. I'm very excited about my purchase. The tent design is smart and, even though the pole set-up took a little effort to figure out, I could easily pitch it within a few minutes. There is nice verticality to the side walls and plenty of space for 2 people. Plus, it's the only tent I found that contributes some proceeds to a non-profit organization. Great product!
Before purchasing this pack, my primary day pack style was the Patagonia Atom- very small. After hiking Mt St Helens with a 55L pack- much too large- I decided to commit to finding a smaller pack with the capacity for long day hikes requiring some gear (ice axe, trek poles, maybe crampons). I think this pack it it.
Super comfortable to wear, it doesn't inhibit movement when I hike. The features are just enough. I'm 5'4" and the Sm/med frame fits well. It might be a bit tall as the base of my head touches the frame but I can adjust to that.
Excited for the trails ahead!
I chose this pack for its streamline design, size and weight. It fit very well, too. The fabric is very taut over the rigid frame, so much so that some of the material didn't seem to stretch properly causing the frame to squeak when I flexed forward. I received great customer service from Campsaver, and returned the pack. If it was in fact a manufacturing error, I'd consider getting another one, since I liked the features.
There are a lot of hoodies out there, most don't carry a Patagonia-type price tag. But this item reminds me of the quality that Patagonia puts into their products. Extremely soft, thick cotton. Great fit. Good details in design. And, of course, warm and cozy!
This radio has all the features I was looking for: multiple sources of powering, cell phone charging, and small. It works really well, although I haven't tested the cell phone charging strength. Regardless, I'm very pleased with it!
