The mat gets super slippery and leaves grit from your feet. I almost fell several times from the mat being wet towards the end of my practice. Also, every piece of lint, hair, or debris seems to stick to it. It's hard to focus on your practice when trying not to slip and all the other distractions. It did have good cushion and support. I am short (5'2) and felt like the mat was very roomy.
