Bought this to use as a mid layer over my lighter merino base and under my Burton AK 3l shell. Works amazing as a mid layer, moister management and movement are exceptional, thumb holes in the sleeves are nice for taking layers on and off. Only reason for minus one star is the hood/built in balaclava...thought this would work great in place of a mask for the lift line. It kind of did, the balaclava accumulated a lot of moisture while breathing through it and gets very wet in a short period of time...also by mid day only using it in the lift line, it had stretched considerably and I had to tuck the sides into my helmet to keep it on my face even for short periods of time. Also runs a bit small as I’ve noticed most of the Arc'teryx stuff does I’m 6’2” 185 with a 42” chest and I had to return the Large for a medium. Campsavers customer service is amazing though, so it was quick and painless and they honored the sale after it had ended for me!
