Mountain Equipment Vega Jacket - Men's
Bought as a bivy parka for winter hiking, planning to take it to Mt washington in NH this weekend. I bought a Womens M and Men's S (I usu wear womens M jackets, 5'7). Mens had more arm room, slightly longer, but was tighter around the hips -- and I have NO hips. So hippy women-- definitely stick w/women's version! It seems good quality and fits a little smaller than I would expect for a Men's S. Nice length for me and I'm 5'7.

I gave it 4 stars vs 5 since I feel weird giving it 5 stars without using it first... will be bringing it to Mt Washington this weekend. Got it as a bivy parka for breaks during cold hikes/emergencies. I usually buy M in jackets (I am S in most tops, 32DD, 5'7) and this was perfect with enough room for multiple layers (base, windshirt, lightweight puffer, shell underneath). Seems warm. I also bought the men's small, which had more arm room but less hip room. If you are hippy I might consider sizing up if using as a belay jacket. I have no hips so it worked great.
