Cute pattern and cut. Fits well. May not breathe as well as jackets quadruple it's price, but seems just as waterproof. (Initial impression after 1 week. Not hiked in it yet, but wife reaches for it for around town summer rain jacket so far instead of the bulletproof Arcteryx Gore-Tex pro 3L.

Marmot Scree Pants - Women's
Look great, work even better. Articulated knees and stretch fabric move well for hiking including tough bend and reach movements. DWR sheds water. Material dries well if wetted through the DWR, breathes well, comfortable across a wide temperature range.
Cons:
1. run small. Wife wears a size 2, bought size 4, but had to go up to a 6.
2. Low set zip front pockets. Mildly annoying for casual use, but OTOH just how you'd want them if wearing a pack or harness

Cozy as sweatpants, rugged as hiking pants, water resistant too. Fashion and function.
