Good- but too long

Metolius Easy Aider
very good design, easy to adjust and nice big supportive foot loop. Great for canyoneering and caving. However, the tail when adjusted for SRT frogging/ Texas kick is much too long. The tail tends to get caught on everything. Not a big deal as it can be cut, but at the sacrafice of the pre sewn sliding stopper.

Petzl Ascension Ascender/Rope Clamp
Out of all the hand held ascenders I have used- this is the best. The ease of opening, closing and the contour of the grip are well thought out and as an added plus its fairly lightweight in the pack for longer days.
