We were hiking with our LO using every day carriers and as she has gotten bigger, the back pain and tension increased. This pack sits so comfortable on your back/hips and makes it easier to keep hiking and complete your trail without dread. I love the chin and neck pillows so that the LO can easily fall asleep in whatever position is comfortable to them and not be bumbling around. The sunshield is also great to keep them protected while still giving them great visibility. I also love the kick stand which makes it easy to put her in and take her off my back and set her down safely. Plus, if she is still napping and we are breaking to eat, etc then she can just stay cozily in her pack. I also think the leg holders/stir-ups are a great add so her legs are supported and not freely dangling. She seems way more comfortable on longer hikes with that set up as well. The only thing I think in terms of pricing is that the only difference between the Kid Comfort and the the Kid Comfort Pro is the day pack. While the pack is nice and designed to fit inside of the other bag, I am not sure the bag itself is worth $40. In our case, we have little compartment bags and such so the bag does not become one larger mixed pot but without sections or pockets, it would be easy for the bag to become messy and even though reviews talk about it as a great diaper bag or something for needs while on the hike, I like to have things organized and accessible when trying to quickly manage a diaper change - e
