Tested one night in the back yard where it got down to 47 F. Kept warm, but 10 degrees colder and we'd probably have needed something else (bag liner, fleece tops, etc). Not too surprising, I think the 15F rating is to stay alive, not be toasty. Got this instead of the down version because we don't like our feet constrained. The down version of this narrows down and looked 'tight'. This wasn't. We have two of the older Agnes insulated pads, and they slid in nicely, even when fully inflated. Also got the 'giant' pillows, which fit nicely into the pillow compartments. I'd buy this again.
We'll be adding a bag liner, if for no other reason to keep the bag cleaner and stave off having to wash the bag. Also, a liner should extend the warmth at least 5 degrees.
