The thick nylon material used to make these shorts is very impressive. The fit and stretch make them work well for climbing. The pockets are a little weird. I'd like to se a model with less pockets, but this is a minor complaint.
I own four Totem now and have had a chance to use them quite a bit. The narrow head width lets them fit better in flared cracks and pockets, and the direct loading cams give me a lot of confidence in less than perfect placements. They are a little more bulky than other cams but that has not been an issue for me.
My first experience with the Phasic material - it feels really smooth and comfy. The overall quality is excellent, as I've come to expect from Arcteryx. The only criticism I have is that I had hoped there would be a little more stretch in the fabric.
This draw is another well designed and made product that I've come to expect from Metolius. The bravo biner is small and light but not too small that it's hard to handle. The one small change I would like to see is to have the top end loop slightly larger so that I could more easily rotate that biner when I need to.
I've had a chance to use these draws for a few climbing days and about ten pitches of climbing. They are very nice to use - small and very light, but not so small that they are difficult to handle.
Campsaver was great to deal with. A small glitch in my order was resolved quickly and fairly.
