I use this in my ENO Hammock and out-and-about and it works out great. I use it for both a pillow and blanket in the hammock and i use it for a great picnic or venue blanket. Sturdy material both top and bottom. The fleece side is very comfortable and the vinyl type material on the underside is very durable. The fleece side does attract dirt and leaves somewhat, but that is the trade off for a comfy side and an all terrain side. It shakes off and cleans easy though, but don't complain when when you step on the fleece side with muddy shoes and it takes a second to wipe it clean. Great blanket for travel and adventures! Highly recommend!
So far so good! I have had no issues with them and they are so much easier to use than the original slap straps (for adjusting anyway). If you are not familiar with how they work, i would recommend watching a review online somewhere and see how they are used. It inst difficult, but if you have never used a hammock or straps before, it might save you some confusion and takes 10 seconds to watch before you see how they work. The XL is great for the extra length and you can still use with old slap strap if need be. I had two hammocks and one "Helios" set, so I used one slap strap per hammock and then used a "Helios" strap on the other end for each hammock. This allowed me to have two hammocks with the "cinch" design and made for easy adjusting.
Definitely recommend, if you are still using the old ENO slap straps.
So far, I have only used the chair once for camping. I love all ENO products and this one meets expectations.
Pro:
Assembly is Straight Forward: The rods are on elastic bands, so they all fit together like "Tent Poles"
Sturdy: I believe the weight limit is 250lb and I am on the low side of 240lb and it held me up, no problem. I never felt like the chair was under too much stress or that it would fail
Comfortable: Its a nice lounger. Pretty easy to get in and out of and it has a swing feel too it. I am not sure if it was on purpose, to go along with their hammock roots, but when you sit in it, it has a suspended feel to it and you can semi rock back and forth.
Good Material: Like most of ENO's equipment, the chair canvas is made of pretty durable material. It was torrential rains when i used it and it wicked water pretty well and dried pretty quickly.
Con:
Take Down: This is definitely a chair you want to use and leave out for a bit. Since it packs down into a bag and all parts are elastically tied together, it takes a minute to pull everything apart and wrap up to get back into the bag. Since it is not a "fold up" chair, you are forced to take all the poles apart before packing or else you will be stuck solid frame of a chair. It is not ideal to pack in a hurry trying to get it in a car or SUV.
Cup Holder: It is pretty much a sack sewn to the side of one of the arms. It gets the job done for the most part, but definitely meant for cans,
