Bought these boots for my daughter. Due to Achilles tendon surgery she has a very defined scar that blisters easily if boots rub at all. These boots were recommended as being high(mid-height) enough to clear the scar. We went back packing this weekend and though she had a small blister on her heel she felt no pressure on her Achilles. She said that they were extremely comfortable and kept her feet warm as well.(It is still winter in Vermont!)She really like the boots!
