fits true to size - I am glad I did not order up. I am 5'2" - ordered a medium and it fits loose enough for a couple layers for winter. hood fits nicely with the draw string encased inside a small seam so that it doesn't flop around when you draw the hood tighter ( nice feature). All seams are double stitched - and the side zippers are perfect. Fabric is soft and feels wonderful - nice thin wicking layer inside coat. this is now my favorite jacket.
