I have been using NB minimalist shoes for the past 4 years but due to ongoing ankle injuries I needed more sole support. These shoes meet my needs as they still allow for the ground feel in the trails but offer support on rocks etc without compromising ankle stability. Also, my ankle bones sit low so was happy that the shoe has a deeper cutout to allow for room.
