I just purchased the Lost Ranger in WIDE. I have yet to take it out, so I have nothing to contribute regarding its temperature rating or durability, although both seem to match the typical Big Agnes quality. What I can speak of is the size of this bag - IT IS YUUGE. I am, in terms of stature, not the typical backcountry explorer. I'm 5'10", 290lbs, and have a 72" shoulder girth measurement. Finding any piece of gear that will fit, and that isn't absurdly heavy, is nearly impossible. This bag might be slightly bulky and heavy compared to traditional mummy backpacking bags, but is well worth the added bulk given the size of it. Honestly, two "normal sized" people could fit in this thing. If you're not a giant human being, I could see the empty space being an issue during cold nights. But for me, being a big dawg / side-sleeper, this bag is exactly how I would have designed it. If you're willing to sacrifice a few ounces and some bulk for comfort (or if you're a big dawg), get this sleeping bag.
