I bought these for day to day walking. I’ve had a problem finding shoes or boots that fit right without foot, hip or back pain. These were comfortable out of the box. They lace easily for a good fit. I did need to go to a low volume sock. Good support during one short off-path walk.

Salomon was recommended to me by a couple of people, but I didn’t feel any cushioning like I wanted. The toe box was a little close for me. A more serious runner, or someone that likes more minimalist shoe might like it.
