Review for
Marmot 8000 Meter Pant - Mens
have nit yet used this well constructed garment as my expedition to Svalbard to film the total eclipse of the sun there on March 20th 2015 does not begin for another two weeks but I can say that this is a very fine garment. There's not much to go into as far as details as every detail is excellent. The color scheme was bought only because it was the only one available and yes, it's sort of ubber bright and a bit crazy but I'm delighted with it! If nothing else, it is distinctive and out in the wild that's just fine. I was happily amused with the fully zippered rear end which when fully open exposes your entire backside! Sounds comical but I can totally see just how usual that might be in the right circumstances. I thought this item was pricey as it rivaled the cost of my Canada Goose parka but it is just as vital and as substantial. For long night out filming aurora you want to get this right and this lightweight piece will make getting up the mountain much easier then the old ex-military kit I am replacing. Cant claim to know how it performs yet but I have high hopes based on my examination so far.
