Beautiful shoe, almost too beautiful to wear! Solid, sturdy construction, very comfortable and totally practical for everyday city use. I normally wear size US 11 in a dress shoe and the Scarpa Epic Lite In 44.5 fits me well. Overall, a sensibly priced, quality, versatile shoe.

I’m new to hiking shoes and am new to the Scarpa brand after much research into different brands. My first impressions of the Zen Pro hiking shoe: Very comfortable, close to wearing sneakers except the outsole is harder rubber, naturally, given the durability needed for hiking. So, there is a harder feeling when walking but still cushiony and comfortable. In my case, I don’t really do hiking but I enjoy wearing the Zens as everyday shoes around town They are THAT comfortable! In doing research, I found differing and confusing advice on sizing for Scarpa. I wear US 11 1/2 in sneakers, US 11 in dress shoes, and the Scarpa size 44.5 which corresponds to US 11 fits me comfortably. The Zens appear to be very well-made and are reasonably priced.

I’m new to the Quartz brand and am VERY impressed with their Champlain parka, purchased at a great price from Campsaver. I had originally been considering the better-known brand, Canada Goose, however, I learned about Quartz, also a Canadian company whose products are MADE IN CANADA. Canada Goose is very trendy, alot of people in the US and elsewhere are wearing it to a large extent as a status symbol, but I like wearing my Quartz Champlain parka because it’s not seen everywhere and I don’t look like everyone else,And, in my opinion, it’s as good if not better than CG. It’s meticulously designed and manufactured, fits me absolutely perfectly (I’m 6’2”, 170 lbs, slim, long arms) and with a slim profile, as opposed to other parkas, including those by CG, that make you look like a refrigerator and it keeps me comfortably warm during single digit and below temps in this cold New York winter. Price is also lower than CG parkas. Best decision I’ve made regarding a winter coat.

I own many articles of clothing by Icebreaker and their Helix jacket is excellent Llghtweight, innovative, stylish, meticulously designed and manufactured and very warm despite its light weight thanks to IB’s proprietary Merinoloft technology which is based on merino wool that IB is known for. And, Canpsaver has the best price and fast delivery, so, I’m a “happy camper!”
