I wanted an inexpensive, light-weight mat and this fit the bill. It weighs a mere 1 pound and rolls up and is about the size of a 32 oz Nalgene bottle and it is just enough insulation for me. Mind you, if you are a "cold" sleeper, you probably won't like this, but that is not my case, so it's just right for me.
