Perfect backpacking boot

I've tried various Crispi hunting boots over the years and could never really get along with the fit - they were usually too wide and gave me some bad heel lift. These are no doubt a softer flex than their burlier hunting boots but I think these are going to be perfect for summer backpacking, early season archery deer, and even for a first season rifle elk. I'm very happy with these boots and will hopefully get years of service.

Best Tool for its Weight

I love the Leatherman Squirt. I have one in each backpack I use, the pliers work surprisingly well for such a small package. I use most frequently in addition to my mountain bike multi-tool, the knife and pliers have come in very handy when trying to repair a tire with a plug or adjust a derailleur cable. Carry one everywhere you go and you won't regret it!
