Maybelline D. from United States, CA Public Profile
I use this bag for lugging my gym rope, gym attire, and shoes. It holds everything I need and it's comfortable. Next I plan to take it to the crag with all of my trad gear, but I'm sure it'll hold up just fine then too. Pretty happy with my purchase.
I didn't realize that I needed this harness in my life until I had tried it out once. I had a Black Diamond harness previously, which worked well enough climbing in the gym, but I was forced to buy a new harness after I lost a considerable amount of weight (and inches off my waistline). I bought this at my boss' suggestion, who is a seasoned lead/trad climber indoors and outdoors. He swore by this harness (the men's version) and has owned only this model for over a decade, only replacing it with the same model as his harness wore out. I figured I'd go with his suggestion since I only wanted to buy a harness once and that it'll eliminate the need to buy another harness later down the road when I did start lead and trad climbing. I was sold after wearing it one time. The wide waistband is extremely comfortable: climbing, hanging, and falling. I've never experienced any discomfort at all while wearing it. With my old BD harness, there was some discomfort taking falls, but at the time I thought that was normal. In short, I've found the only harness I'll probably ever need.
