The Best Rain Jacket!

For the price, you absolutely cannot beat the Marmot Precip jacket. The sizing is spot-on and the tape-sealed seams keep the rain out! I wore this jacket during Hurricane Harvey in Austin, Texas, and managed to stay dry despite the driving rain. I was impressed with the performance considering the much higher priced rain jackets out there. This model works well for all outdoor activities and the zip-pits make it convenient to let the heat out when active. This is another product that performed well enough for me to purchase a second one in a different color.

This vest is one of my favorite products from Patagonia. It is very soft and works well when layering during colder temps. The Nano Puff material is thin, so you will definitely want to layer underneath when the temps get much below the 40's. Excellent quality and construction, which is typical of Patagonia. You won't be disappointed!
Excellent Down Jacket!

This is one of the best down jackets I have ever purchased. It is incredibly soft, the sizing is on point, and it is very warm without the typical bulk of most down jackets. The 590 TurboDown fill is perfect for temps down into the teens. Just last week, I wore this jacket during Winter Storm Inga with temps in Austin, Texas, into the low teens and it kept me warm with only a t-shirt and base layer shirt underneath. This jacket has worked so well for me that I actually bought two more. Another one in black and one in gray. Get one while they last!
