Me the Golfer from United States, TX Public Profile
I got a great deal on these through CampSaver. I needed to step up from my beginner shoes, the Tarantula's. I tried to make these work, but I never felt good in them. From what I heard these are designed as high-sensitivity shoes, and that's exactly how they feel. The grip and NoEdge are fantastic, but my feet just couldn't handle the beating. In my amateur judgement I would say don't get these shoes if you are a beginner or intermediate. I went with a pair Scarpa Vapor V's instead.
I use my Multitool for work (specialized mechanic), play (hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, etc.) and daily use. I've had all the big brands, and this is my third leather man. The Surge is my favorite - it's got just about anything you could need (if you buy the bit accessories). It's a stout piece and handles heavy-duty work no problem. And in its strength is where you find its one weakness - this sucker is heavy. I'll most likely make a custom clip, it weighs down my belt/pants with the included sheath. I'm most happy with the high quality of the knife blades, and their edges - heavy duty.
[...] the greatest outdoor apparell I've ever purchased, including all my huting gear. This will be a great jacket for everything but April-October! - says a lot bein that I'm in Texas
Product is great quality. Used for everyday wear. The beanie is a little deep-headed, but I just fold a little of it inside the shallow out the center. Another
thing: at the top where all the sew's come together, it is very finely put together, it doesnt have a lump like cheap beanies. No cons.
