Tall up the calf

I wear a women's 10 - 101/2 - I'm currently in a Technica Cochise 26.5 - but started skinning a few years ago and really want a crossover boot that's lighter with more uphill give but one still retaining stiffness for fairly aggressive downhill skiing. Tried the Hochi 26.5 - too small - went with this boot 27-27.5 and it's huge and way up the calf. It is fairly light - and it's a gorgeous boot - easy on - but the sizing is off for me. I am just shy of 5'8" and 144lbs with average calfs but these boots were very tall on my calf. For the right build this is probably a great boot.
