I love this shirt. It is the most breathable and quick drying long sleeve on the market. Sierra Design's is creating an incredibly well thought out line of backpacking clothing that is functional and looks good. I did the "Tour du Mont Blanc" last year in the short sleeve Pack Polo and it quickly became my go to backpacking shirt. It is durable. Even after 100 plus miles of backpacking, it does not show any signs of wear.......which is typically not the case with other shirts or teck-tee's.
I love them. They fit well and are comfortable. They are built to take a beating, so if you are looking for a lightweight, breezy pant, these are not it. Great for Fall, Winter, Spring.
I purchased the OR- Gripper Gloves a little while back and I love them. They are warm, wind-proof and don't make my hands feel chunky or cumbersome. Though they are not waterproof (the are not suppose to be) they do hold off rain or wet surfaces very well. Very well built. They are the type of glove that makes you grin a bit when you put them on, because you know your hands are taken care of.
I bought this specifically for alpine use. I'll be climbing Mont Blanc in a few months and everything I read said to use a hard Nalgene bottle. I'm going to use a smaller pack than is usual so "space" is at a premium. I need a collapsible bottle that can withstand high altitude. The Dromedary Bag looks like it will do perfectly. Very well built with solid construction. Haven't tested it yet in high altitudes, but am confident/excited to see it exceed my expectation.
I was looking for a alpine boot that was more flexible but still beefy enough for a summit bid. Haven't done a summit yet, but I've hiked in snow with crampons and they perform just how I had hoped. Very happy with them.
