Great Tee

Written on May 04, 2017

After 3 weeks of mainly wearing this as a work undershirt, most of the time without in between washes, and a couple nights of falling asleep in it, I really like this shirt. It isn't the thinnest merino undershirt out there, but still provides plenty of ventilation. It seems to be somewhat wrinkle resistant. And, it is definitely odor resistant.

Performing well so far...

Had been looking for a new trail shoe to try. Specs and look of this shoe attracted me. Campsaver had DEEP discount, I got 1 day shipping. Campsaver delivered as promised. Replaced insoles with blue superfeet. I don't understand the lace powerlock system yet, so I removed powerlock toggles and tied normally. Laces stayed tied entire run/hike. Though shoes didn't feel secured to my feet upon lacing up, during a 3 mile run/hike in wet, muddy trail conditions, I never thought the shoes were about to fling off, nor did I experience my feet slipping inside the shoe during run/hike. Ran/walked thru puddles, with short/thin running gaiters on, shoes drained great. Feet didn't get uncomfortably warm, even though I was running in smartwool hike ultralight crews. Did great griping the wet tree bark of a log I used to cross over a river. Needed a walking stick to hike up about a 40 degree incline mud slope for roughly 150'. Cannot comment on their mud-shedding abilities yet since hike ended after descent. Performing well so far...
