These shoes are truly worth the price. Especially if I can get them on sale at Campsaver! The high quality means these shoes last the entire year of my highly active 7 yr old. This is the third time I have purchased them. 5 yrs old, 6yrs old... Merrels and other performance brands have not lasted nearly as long. Great investment. I do get them a bit big so he can still fit into them at the end of the year.
I love this Asolo approach shoe… feels very well made and shaped like my foot, unlike other popular brands of approach shoes that I have recently tried, that feel boat like and made of stiff cardboard. However, I normally wear 7.5… or maybe even 8, if I need to anticipate the growing foot-while hiking distance-factor. But I ordered 7.5, had to return, and received the 7. They are still a bit roomy in the toes. I will keep them, but I advise ordering at least a half size down. I hope they don't stretch too much. Looking forward to getting out on the trails, with them!
