These draws are light and can definitely carry your load when you fall. The dogbones feels bomber. The only thing I didn't like was the wiregates are bent outwards and not inwards..so the clipping action isn't as ergonomically friendly as some other draws. But other than that..this is a great and economical set of draws to get!
I put on these shoes the moment I pull them out of the box. Man! they feel awesome. I have wide feet and although it looked narrow in front, I didn't feel the uncomfortable pinch like I do in other climbing shoes. The love bump under my toes feels great coz it eliminated the spaces and prevented my toes from bunching together. I used them for big walls and indoor bouldering and they performed very
It's actually a good biner and does the job well. However, I feel it's too small for any long outdoor climbs. The size is the same as any quickdraw carabiner (e.g. Black diamond freewire) but with a locking mechanism. That means it's only limited to single rope belay or can only be attached to thin belay loops or gym harnesses. If bought for those purposes, the biner does a great job!
I got this specifically to carry my gear and to extend anchors. It does the job well. It is rugged for the outdoors and light enough that you don't feel its weight. A very good investment
I bought the red helmet and it feels so comfortable right out the box. It's easy to adjust and it fits great! I'm not too crazy about the colour design though..it looks odd. Perhaps, buying the full black colour would be a better option.
I like the mini 8 coz it's so compact. using single ropes, I can abseil down pretty quickly and it doesn't weigh me down much. However, because of its size, the size of the ropes used can be a problem. Also, it's hard to do double rope abseil if the ropes are above 10.2mm. It's best use is for teaching abseiling or doing indoor/gym abseil or climbing.
I bought on impulse coz it was on sale..and I'm glad I did. The fit was perfect on the waist, although the inseam was an inch too long. Not a problem when you fold the hem. I love how freely I can move on the walls and on the rock. On really hot days, it wicks the sweat away very well, especially from the skin that's in contact with my harness. Even better, it dries fast too. A really great buy.
