The Perfect Hand-Me-Down

This jacket is very comfortable to don due to its full zipper, soft stretchy fabric, and lined neck. The zipper is large and feels smoother than most, and all around it is darn near perfect. What didn't appeal to me was the fabric: the fuzzy side of the fleece is oriented outward—giving the worn appearance of a fleece purchased 11 years ago from Old Navy—while the chest patch harkens to British military jumpers. While it lacks the sexiness of other offerings, it provides the barebones yet luxurious appeal of steel cut oats on a chilly morning and, if I had inherited this from a girlfriend whose ex left it behind, would otherwise happily wear it with abandon.
