Black Diamond Alpine Start Hoody - Men's
Material sheen semi matte, and quiet, build and fit are spot on; Medium size at 7.5oz works for this man person; 32"waist (M) and 43"Chest (L), 2way and 4way panels pattern accommodating for body contortions, flex. Stows, into chest pocket, reasonably small volume, w/loop ready for carabiner, external stow. Breaths well while taking edge off wind gusts. Hood and collar substantial, enough room for climbing/ most bike helmets. weight of collar, hood acceptable when not deployed. Adjustable waist hem line and helmet effective. Not used in wet conditions, yet.

Fit is spot on (XL). Blk is matte in sheen. Bottom trim lin is flattering. Very lightweight, duable, packable. A bit of multi-directional stretch in enhance movement, and provide transitional fit. Can do just about anything high output 50-70deg.

purchased for as insulating liner for motorcycling and kayaking, and alpine winter play. Fit is slim, layers well, stretches with full articulation, use. recommend redesign of single seam at center to better fit males.

Grippy, notably in wet and/or dry hard pack to unconsolidated rock and dirt. Light weight, Airy yet warm, comfortable, adjusts nicely, for me, from thin to medium thickness socks. A very good value.

Excellent build and esthetic qualities. RDS, Oketex100.
We primarily pair to make complete double up sleeping configurations;
with a Exped MegaMat 10M, and Cozy Sheet, (van or lux tent camping),
or combined together with a Synmat HL Duo LW, Mat Sheet, (comfy duo backpacking)
Also use as extra layer under or over a HyperQuilt Duo, for sub chill nights...
oh, works great as a quilt (no zips to encounter), or single sleeping bag folded and clipped/baffled together.
