Lite weight, easy gate. What else would you want? If you want a larger gate and opening, go with a different model. This is about lite weight.

Great belay carabiner for various belay devices. The wire keeps the carabiner correctly oriented on the belay loop. The rhino nub keeps a grigri correctly on the carabiner. Auto locking provides assurance of closure. Easy single hand gate opening and closing. I real like this carabiner when lead rope soloing to keep the grigri correctly located. Superb.

Mammut 9.5 Gym Classic Rope
I'm using the rope outdoor on relatively short, single pitch climbs. Less weight to carry in and out. I use mainly for top rope soloing and lead rope soloing. So, the shorter rope is beneficial. Move well in devices. Good size for my usages. Just started using, so no experience on durability. But seems like a solid rope.

Metolius Metolius Session II Crash Pad
This was my starter crash pad and is a great first pad. Convenient to carry, easy to move around. The cover and buckle system are convenient to pack in a few extra items and to protect the shoulder straps when being used. It is also a great size to add on when strapping multiple pad together to carry in.
