Edelrid Pinch Belay
Have debated on getting an assisted belay device for years and have tried multiple GriGris and the trango variant as well. This device had me so excited. It is usable for belaying, rappeling and certified for professional rope access. The device is easy to use. I really like that it can be attached to a harness carabiner free. Also the orientation can be rotated in 90 degree increments to find the best possible solution for lowering. A large handle helps lower the climber and if you go too far the device "pops" and locks out. One can either move the handle further or reset it to resuming lowering. The first time it locks out it is a little scary but easy to get used to. Overall, this is a great device and my new goto for all applications.

Petzl Borea Helmets - Women's
This a very nice hard shell helmet. It is quite light, fits well and adjusts quickly using the two sliders behind the head. What I especially liked was that the women's helmet has a slight cut out in the back for a pony tail, which makes it fit much more comfortably for those with long hair. I would like a quick adjust dial in the center back but the two sldiers do work quite well.
