Mammut Contact Sling 8.0 mm
This sling is perfect. Super light, compact, 22kn strength. I have yet to see the durability, but unless you are really putting these through their paces, this is the one I would suggest for anyone; sport, trad, or otherwise. It comes with a handy chart of knots vs. strength loss which I found useful. I use this for top rope anchoring and I would call it bomb proof (assuming your anchors are good that is ;] )

Black Diamond Rocklock Carabiner
I use these with my sling to make top rope anchors. They get the job done. I don't feel they will open without my wanting them too, they are sturdy as all get out, and the colors are fun too. I'm glad they were on sale though.

Black Diamond Half Dome-Helmet
Not heavy?! Wow! I expected it to weigh more as it isn't the low weight model. I have seen many folks with this helmet and they state it can really take some damage. I haven't put it though too many paces yet, but I'm just glad it fits a wide range of head sizes. My wife and I can both wear it!

Got these in sale, and they are exactly what I needed. Would have gotten the spirits if they were on sale, but these are a great runner up. Responsive springs, nice colors so you never mix up your rope and your anchor side
