This is the second pair of Contra pants that I own. They are very lightweight, and are great warm weather pants. The fit for me is spot-on, and that isn’t always easy. There’s a great color selection, and as such I can see myself purchasing another pair.

I really wanted to like this shoe, as it was attractive and waterproof. Treksta’s big selling point is their ‘nest fit’ technology, and they claim to have sampled 20,000 individual feet to give the shoe a customized fit. Well, I find it hard to believe that the feet that they sampled all had extremely high arches, as this is what the fit of these shoes would indicate. For someone with high arches, this shoe might work; but for me just standing in them was uncomfortable (and consequently I returned them).
These are also a very stiff shoe, and I think would be suitable for long hikes with a pack, but not necessarily short light hikes.
I’ve had pretty good luck for the most part buying running and hiking shoes based on the description. This is one of those cases though where I feel like the company has exaggerated a bit on their claims, and a test drive would be recommended.

When I bought this I wasn’t aware that it would have a similar texture to a flannel shirt (which I have plenty of). That being said, I decided to keep it because it is quite comfortable and quite stylish, taking the road less traveled with its horizontal stripes.I can wear it to work or for a casual occasion, so it is pretty versatile. It appears well-made, and I can recommend it to anyone looking for this type of shirt.

For some reason some manufacturers add pockets to running shorts as an afterthought...or don't put them on at all. That tiny pocket inside the elastic waist band that is like a little fabric envelope that seems to be popular these days? Well, that is great as long as you don't have to carry a modern car remote, but even with an old-school key, it takes an origami master to get that thing in and out. Guess what? I need to carry things when I run - definitely a car key, and if possible, an energy gel. Salomon is one of those companies that is concerned about function, and luckily they have a team that tackles the looks part too. These shorts not only look great and are very comfortable, but they have ample pocket space (I like the 2 small pouch-type pockets in the back) and breathe well. So to summarize: Looks great, wicks moisture, comfortable, adequate pockets, breathable. Oh - I've been wearing these for both trail running and road running.

I own several products by Mountain Hardware because I feel like they make great products, and they look cool! This zip pullover is no exception - it is comfy on cool days, is great for layering, and has color-contrasting material that stretches. This not only aids in maneuverability, but has the added bonus of looking sharp (in my humble opinion). I purchased the 'steam' color thinking it was goin
