The jacket is really nice some reviewer say it’s not like what it used to be but seems heavy enough to me the only reason I took away a star is because the zipper sucks the zipper is horrible the zipper takes a while to zip it up I bought two jackets of different kinds but same maker I don’t know what they thought of when they were putting the zipper in. I bought one with the hood and that’s fine that was my favorite I bought this one and the zipper is just horrible I thought I was gonna break the zipper when I was trying to zip it up maybe it needs a little work in who knows ,but overall I love the jackets both of them just hate the zippers.

This jacket is wonderful. I initially had a shirt jack from an online competitor that advertises underwear as well as outdoor products. Their jacket had no side pockets. It fit well but I kept trying to put my keys and hands in the missing pockets. Returned it. The fabric on this one is comfortable and feels smooth is extremely warm.
High quality, sturdy, and a good fit.

I prefer more fitted clothes and Carhartt stuff has always been too large for me. After reading the reviews here saying that these run a bit smaller than normal Carhartt sizing, I took a chance and ordered a medium.

Once again, not disappointed with the Carhartt shirts I purchased to be embroidered for our construction business. Hunter Green pictured on top of Carbon Heather, Dark Cobalt Blue, and then the navy, all Carhartt brand and original fit.

After threatening to throw my husbands old ripped, shredded and warn out Carhartt vest in the trash (it was 20 years old and had outlived it's life expectancy), he finally agreed to order a new one. What I like about these is that as long as you know the style and size of the previous one (listed on the inside label) it's easy to order a replacement. Sizes don't change, always identical and easy to find what you are looking for that will fit perfectly. I could not see him going through another winter without one. Now we're both smiling.

Carhartt Full Swing Armstrong Jacket - Men's
Great work jacket. Bought this for hanging out and working around the barn. I am 5’10”/165 lbs and the small is a good fit. I tried Carhartt mediums, but they were a bit bulky for my taste. Maybe not as warm as the insulated options but I recently wore it for several hours outside in the 30s and it kept me comfortable. The fleece lined hand pockets was a huge plus over some of the other Carhartt options

The fit was exact. Ordered the size the person normally wears, it fit perfectly, however, sent it back for one size larger so it could be worn over sweatshirts etc. Looks good, well made. Very pleased.

Carhartt Full Swing Chore Coat for Mens
After reading more and more reviews that this runs large I decided to get a medium size in black and it fits perfectly. I am 6ft, 230lbs with wide shoulders. I like the style and feel of the jacket. My picture is with a thin flannel long sleeve on under the jacket. The fabric feels like stiff canvas on the outer and fleece on most of the inner. Completely buttoning up the jacket still leaves me room in the belly area. Not too tight or loose.
