best all around kettle

Written on May 14, 2014

this is the Swiss Army Kettle at a price thats the best on line. Forget the Ti pots, you can boil water from this pot, eat your meal, and works great with a alchol stove.
Anyone from a car camper to a thru-hiker should get one of these. Really after using mine for 3 years this is one of my better purchases.

Great for day hiles

Written on Dec 12, 2013

This set is great for the day hiker and the hit the trail kind of guy. It's nice to have a hot cup of coffee and eat your meal from a compact duo of cups. These nesting cups fit the bill of the ultra light hiker as well as the outdoor sportsman and day hiker.
Great buy.

The long and short of it

This is a great cooking spoon, it wont melt, reaches the bottom of a deep pot for stiring. On the down side the spoon is a little small to eat with. I will probally switch to my stainless steel utensils to eat with, but it does what it is designed to do.

Happy Camper

I just received this kettle and could not be more happy with it. Finally a kettle that is multi purpose. Tea and a meal. The handles stay cool and the bail wire works great in combination with the handles. The top is easily removable with a fork and goes back on as easily. I heartly recommend this kettle to anyone.
