Haven't had a chance to test in a heavy rainstorm yet, but I have noticed a few things from a few wears. First-off, this jacket has two chest pockets which I initially mistook for hand pockets. These pockets are a decent size, but I don't have any use for chest pockets, so I find these useless (I'm also bummed that I don't have hand pockets). The halo tightens well around the top of my head, but I find that the neck seems to have extra space for a scarf or something similar; this means that when I'm wearing this jacket in warmer weather as a single layer over my baselayer, rain gets in around my neck. Maybe there's a better way to cinch this part tight, but I haven't figured it out (note that two straps can be pulled on both sides of the head, and these tighten the sides near your cheeks, so that the neck gets pulled up towards your eyes - this kind of gets rid of the neck problem, but not completely). Oh - the jacket also has no armpit zips, which some people may find to be a turnoff. Otherwise the jacket has a really nice slim fit, fits comfortably over a midweight baselayer and mid-layer, stuffs into its inside pocket for a ridiculously small packing size, and just looks really good.
