Was looking for a sub 1kg bag for backpacking but the budget didn't stretch too far. The Thylacine specs appeared to offer a quality bag withtop end features. It's roomy as a semi-rec, but can be tightened to mummy-like dimensions to increase it's warmth. Have had it down to 2degC with only a merino layer longjohn and socks underneath and was comfy. Can recommend.
It's common knowledge in the industry that when a company says "3 person" they really mean "2"...and the Kelty is no exception. It's super light, easy and intuitive to erect and loaded with features. Get tye footprint as well because the lightness comes at the cost of some thin flooring (but hey, that's the price of UL). Unlike other brands it's actually easy to put the TN3 back into the packing bags and the rectangular "parcel" shape makes it easy to slide into your bag. You can also easily divide the inner, fly and poles to lighten the load even more amongst a couple. The only caveat is if you are over 6 foot tall you WILL be hard up against the head and foot of the tent.
