I purchased several brands of ski pants in multiple sizes to get the best pants and fit. Hands down Black Diamond Recon were the most rugged and flexible pants with stronger material throughout. The material around the cuff is especially thick, finally a material that withstand the occasional strike from ski edges.
I am 5'11 at 175 lbs and consider myself fairly slim with a 34-36" waist. I purchased the size medium are a great fit for me

I bought this piece of equipment for all kinds of winter sports. I snowboard, cross-country ski, ski touring and many more ... I love winter! These pants are very versatile in multi layers and allow me to be prepared for all weather conditions. The pockets are well placed and the integrated gaiters keep you dry throughout the hikes.
