One of the very best items one can select for their bug-out bag! Not only freeze dried and thus lightweight, this is a self-contained meal... it even has powdered milk mixed in. I like it hot, but no need to stop and cook if you are scrambling... as cold water works just fine too. Granola will stick to your ribs and carry you far as well. I have several in each of my family's bags.
