Overall this is a great switch. It's well put together and pretty heavy duty. The actual switch has very good tactile response but you pretty much have to press in the center. Note that the Alpha has a slightly different thread so isn't compatible with this switch, although Elzetta does sell one for the Alpha. Also this has only momentary-on so be aware of that before you buy.
These have been outstanding for me so far! Last week I tried to hike to the Falls in Ousel Park but had to turn back 1/4 miles from it. I'd already taken one hard fall and the rest of the trail ahead was steeper and icier. This week I wore these Grivel Ran Traction crampons and it was a night and day improvement! Despite being even worse this week I zipped along like a mountain goat, never losing grip even once! These a game changer for sure.
They fit fine on my size 11 shoes, but would not stretch to fit over my size 11 pack boots. Probably an XL would have still fit my shoes while having enough room to go over my boots. The XL is out of stock and I'm not sure if they'll be back in stock before things warm up but I'll probably order them anyways just to have later.
I couldn't be happier with the Mission Duffel 90! It's very nicely made, perfect stitching and great materials. The design is great as well, and there are tons of ways to use and carry it. The internal pouches on each end are a great touch; accessible only from the outside they all you to to carry stuff inside the bag that you don't want to contact other stuff (eg muddy boots or dirty clothes) yet take no appreciable space if you don't need to use them. The backpack-style straps are great but they tuck away unobtrusively if you don't need them. Same for the side carry strap. Lastly there are handles on the ends which is great for maneuvering the bag around when heavily loaded.
There's not really anything to complain about with this pack. Highly recommended.
So far I'm loving this pack! At 27 liters it's the perfect size for my requirements (a day pack that can fit a woobie/blanket/small sleeping bag as well). The construction is excellent as you'd expect from MR. It's a tad overbuilt and heavier than you might expect due to it having a framesheet and the adjustable Futura yolk system. Internal organization is minimalist but pretty good. The top lid has two zippered pockets, there are two hanging zippered pockets on the inside and two small sleeve pockets. Lastly there's a hanger for a hydration bladder, too. The zippers are waterproof and work well and there's a pair of compression straps over the top.
There are a few minor things I'd change. First the side water bottle pockets could be a bit deeper. I think they'll retain the bottles just fine but a bit taller sides would be nice. And the pockets slightly eat into the internal volume of the pack when bottles are inserted.
But overall it's a great pack. It fits well with lots of potential for adjustment and carries well. Fit can be subjective but this is a very comfortable pack. Recommended!
